~20 May:  With so much beauty to capture during A Lovely workshop…it was quite easy to go into sensory overload.  Which is why it was refreshing to take a break from the camera and create with our hands in a different manner using photos, wax, and learning from the talented Leah Macdonald.  Leah is the gifted and soulful artist behind Bliss Books and Wax Works Photo.  Her work is truly something and this was definitely one of my favorite parts about the workshop.  It reminded me of my mixed media art and book making days…inspiring me to get back into it once more.  Below are some images I took afterwards.
