Hello and welcome. Please visit often to see my latest work, passions...life. I am a happily married photographer currently based out of Northern California. My main focus has progressed towards fine art infused into wedding, couples, senior, and fashion photography. At the moment I've taken a break from my photography business to pursue school. However, I am still doing my own personal work to build my portfolio...to grow...see the world in a different light...and meet amazing people along the way. So don't hesitate contact me if you feel it's for something that we both can collaborate on. I'm a dreamer. My inspiration comes from all forms of art, graffiti, nature, traveling, anything vintage, crisp fall days, and the glow of the evening sun. I hope you like what you see...please feel free to leave a comment to let me know you visited...

Back in August (yes that’s right…August…I’m finally catching up during my winter school break) my husband and I took our summer trip to my home state of North Carolina. After several years, we finally got to see my husband’s brother who flew in from overseas. As an extra bonus we also got to meet his girlfriend Brittany who flew in as well. After spending a week in my hometown we packed a rental car and headed to Kitty Hawk, NC to meet up with many of my husband’s good friends. As long as I’ve lived in North Carolina I had never visited there so it was a memorable experience (more to come on that later). Of course I took loads of photos, but I also had the pleasure of photographing my brother-in-law with his beautiful Brittany. Take a look.
Once more, I had the lovely opportunity to work with my good friend Suzanne. She is the amazing talent behind Kira Kira Jewelry. These images are just a few from our summer shoot here in Grass Valley (you can view our previous shoots here and here). Be sure to check out all of Suzanne’s gorgeous pieces on her website. With this being my first photo session here in California…I was also fortunate enough to work with an amazing team of ladies. Thank you so much Suz, Olga, Jessica, and Nesha for making this shoot possible. I look forward to working with you all again some day!

Here’s the second half of a wonderful trip I took nearly two years ago. You can see images from Cambodia here. It rained for the duration of the visit, but that didn’t stop my husband and I from seeing as much as we could. Not only that, we were lucky enough to be there for the Chinese Lunar New Year (Valentine’s Day too)…it was the year of the tiger. So we caught a glimpse of how the locals celebrate to bring in new beginnings. We also toured the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum/Museum, enjoyed a lovely lunch with a Vietnamese family, visited the countryside outside of Hanoi, and drifted the emerald green waters of Halong Bay by junk boat. As you can probably tell…I was really fascinated by all the colorful textured buildings and doorways. Accents of earlier French colonization are clearly seen through the architecture. Well, enough of my ramblings…I hope you enjoy the images. Until then…
Nearly two years later…I’m finally posting images from my Siem Reap, Cambodia trip with my husband. It has been a long time coming to say the least, but I never forgot to eventually share them. Life has just been so busy that I could never find the time do so. While living on Okinawa…I really wanted to experience as much of Asia as I could. So along with Siem Reap, we also visited Hanoi and Halong Bay, Vietnam (images coming soon). Cambodia was undoubtedly scorching hot, but such a beautiful, mysterious place to see…full of rich history. We visited temple among temple: Bayon, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Angkor Wat (which unfortunately was under construction so I couldn’t get a nice panoramic view of this entire gorgeous ancient temple) to name a few. We also took a boat ride along the Tonle Sap river, elephant trekked to Preah Rup temple, enjoyed a hot air balloon ride, and met so many kind people along the way. I’m truly thankful for this experience and I hope the images give a little insight of it.

Here’s a quick peek at one of my favorite captures from a shoot I did this past weekend in collaboration with Suzanne Somersall of Kira Kira Jewelry and some other pretty awesome ladies. There’s so much more to come, but you’ll have to wait until August to see more. Until then…
